2. AI Features and Third-Party AI Providers
Some App features use artificial intelligence models to generate text, images, summaries, answers, suggestions, or other outputs (“AI Output”) based on content you submit (“Input Content”).
By entering Input Content into an AI feature, selecting an AI model, or using an automatic model selection feature such as “Best Model” or “Auto”, you consent to the transfer of the relevant Input Content to the third-party AI provider needed to process your request and return AI Output.
The data sent to AI providers is limited to what is required to provide the AI feature, which may include:
– the prompt, message, file, image, or other Input Content you submit;
– technical request metadata, such as anonymized message identifiers, timestamps, model selection, and parameters needed to generate a response;
– conversation context where needed to provide a coherent response.
AI providers may include:
– OpenAI, L.L.C. / OpenAI OpCo, LLC for GPT, ChatGPT, image, speech, or other OpenAI models. Privacy Policy: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/
– Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited for Gemini or other Google AI models. Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Gemini Apps Privacy Notice / Privacy Hub: https://support.google.com/gemini/answer/13594961
– Anthropic, PBC for Claude or other Anthropic models. Privacy Center: https://privacy.anthropic.com/
If you do not want Input Content to be processed by an AI provider, do not submit that content to AI features. If the App allows provider selection, you may choose a specific provider before submitting content.
Do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential information, financial information, health information, government identifiers, passwords, or information about other people unless you have the right to do so and you understand that it will be processed to provide the AI feature.
AI Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing AI Output before relying on it.
